Uh oh! Got a Halloween party coming up and you totally spaced getting a costume? Here are 9 last-minute costumes for redheads that can be made from things you probably already own.
1. Cheryl Blossom
Turn on Riverdale and choose from any of Cheryl’s iconic outfits. You’re bound to have something close to one of her looks in your closet and you’ll look chic all night long. Top off the look with her signature curls and a red lip.
2. Gingerbread
Pull out a loaf of bread and attach it to your clothes for a super easy, funny, and tasty “gingerbread” costume.
3. Pantone Color Swatch
Turn yourself into a Pantone swatch by dressing in a monochromatic look and then printing out a Pantone square with a coordinating name. Bonus points if you go as one of Pantone’s “ginger” colors.
4. Pumpkin Spice
Play up your red hair with a fun pumpkin spice costume. Use an old bed sheet or a white tube dress to make a coffee cup, and another brown piece of fabric to make the sleeve. Print out the logo and add some cotton balls or tissue for foam.
5. Tacky Tourist
Throw on your flip-flops, your Hawaiian shirt, and your sunglasses. This costume is perfect for Halloween in a warm part of the world, otherwise, you might freeze your toes off.
6. Ariel on Land
Grab a sheet and some rope and fashion yourself a dress like Ariel did when she first washed ashore. Top it off with a starfish clip in your red hair.
7. Fruit
Dress up as your favorite fruit by wearing a monochromatic look for the base and then crafting a stem out of paper and attaching that to your head. Works great with strawberry, pineapple, cherry, and grape. Bonus points if you carry around that fruit all night.
8. Ghost
You can’t go wrong with an old classic like a ghost. Get an old white bedsheet, cut some eyes and haunt the night away.
9. Lois Griffin
Want something low-key? Dress up as Lois Griffin from Family Guy. Just wear a seafoam button-down shirt, khakis, and some flats and you’ll be all set. Finish the look with a bright pink lip and seafoam stud earrings.
