TikToker and redhead, @anyazofiax, posted a video titled: “This is your sign to get the butterfly cut.” This cut is perfect for all hair types and textures because the layers are blended out to create a seamless transition down the head. It’s also the perfect style for wearing the big bouncy, 90s blowout style that has been trending too.
Unlike a shag, which is doable on all hair lengths, the butterfly cut works best on hair that is longer than shoulder length. This allows for lots of room to blend between layers while still keeping the definition. The longer the hair is the more room there is for layers and the more texture the cut will have. Butterfly cuts feature long curtain bangs and more rounded ends than a shag cut.
