It’s been almost 2 decades, but Sex and the City is back with a new chapter. And Just Like That premiered December 9th, but notably, a few things are missing…like Miranda’s red hair!
The character of Miranda Hobbes, played by Cynthia Nixon, is most recognizable from her signature red hair. But, with this new reboot, Miranda has gone gray.
So why is Miranda no longer a redhead? This point is actually brought up by Charlotte (played by Kristin Davis) who says the color makes her look older — ouch!
“I just think the gray ages you,” Charlotte blurted out.
It seems like the show might be trying to move Miranda’s image from spicy redhead to sophisticated older woman?
But, not so fast! Instagram account @everyoutfitonsatc showed a spoiler of Cynthia Nixon shooting a scene and Miranda is back to red:
