Words cannot even describe how thrilled I was to try the May 2018 H2BAR Box. The whole vibe: “Redheads, Let’s Try Something New” made me really feel like summer had started!
Let’s dive right in to these incredible products.
1. SKINN Cosmetics Luxe Waterproof Eyeliner in Navy Seal:
Straight up, my redhead spidey senses go up when I see the word “waterproof”. I have big eyes and long eyelashes from which waterproof products seem to just fall off. However, this product is awesome! It stays on all day (one day this month I wore this for almost twelve hours and it did not move) and it’s so pretty. The color brought out my eyes and looked beautiful with my red hair.
2. SKINN Cosmetics Bright Eye Enhancing Eyeliner:
This made my eyes look enormous! I just applied it to my water line every day. I usually hate applying products to my water line, but the consistency of this product was so creamy and smooth. It didn’t hurt my water line at all and stayed all day long.

3. Virtue Labs Polish Un-Frizz Cream:
First things first, this stuff smells incredible. Secondly, it definitely works! My sister cut my hair for me (it’s actually really cute) but it had been long for such a long period of time that I wasn’t sure I’d be able to manage it. This product arrived in my life at the perfect time! After taking a shower, I applied a quarter sized through my wet hair and left it. I also found it was helpful to comb through my hair afterward, just to make sure my hair didn’t get sticky.

4. Tarte Bronzer in ‘Park Avenue Princess’ (Travel Size):
The only issue with this product is that it’s a travel size (I’m going to run out really fast). This is the best bronzer I’ve ever used. It’s really hard to find a light enough bronzer for my pale skin. This is the perfect color, amazing consistency, great smell, and good coverage.
5. Juice Organics Shampoo and Conditioner (Sample Packettes):
These smelled gorgeous and made my hair so soft and pretty. They were both of a really thick consistency, which was unexpected, but not an issue at all. It also made me and my red hair feel really clean and bright.
6. TapaReef Sunscreen Remover Wipes:
As summer arrives it becomes even more important for us redheads to wear sunscreen. I personally wear sunscreen underneath my makeup every day (and I sometimes still feel a bit of burning from the sunscreen and makeup combination). No matter how high-quality your sunscreen might be, most are still heavy and a little gross. The TapaReef wipes clean thoroughly. After removing my makeup, I used this over my skin to make sure I got all the sunscreen off my face.
Be aware that the wipe almost feels like it’s drying out your skin as you use it. But, the result is smooth skin!
7. Nunzio Saviano Anti-Frizz Sheets:
These are so awesome. This is the same quality as the Virtue Unfrizz Cream, but you can use it on dry hair. It’s the answer to my prayers. You can also use them to control the static on clothes, as I discovered with my nylon dance shorts under one of my favorite summer dresses.
8. Coastal Scents Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette:
This is the best product ever. It was such an incredible surprise to see a full eyeshadow palette in the box. Also, it’s just a stunning palette. The colors are gorgeous and rich. There are several matte, and shimmery shades, AND nothing is too dark for my pale skin. Win, win, win, win, win!
