Finally Glossy®, the first product in our hair care series, launched today. We know taking care of your red hair means using the right products — in and out of the shower. Over the years, we’ve tried tons of shampoos that we have loved, but we knew if we wanted something special that really elevated our red hair, we had to do it ourselves. We desired a product that gave radiance without color depositing. And, redhead ladies & gentleman, this is how Finally Glossy was born!
What are the ingredients?
This product is formulated specially for redheads and for red hair. It’s a special shampoo to help strengthen, shine, and add hydration to red hair. This clean formula is formulated with Vitamin B3, olive oil, coconut oil, and green tea.
One of the most important factors to us when creating anything for the How to Be a Redhead shop is that the products are truly ‘Redhead Friendly’ Approved®. This means using the best ingredients possible, and avoiding anything that may irritate a redhead’s scalp, skin, and eyes.
Finally Glossy is paraben-free, cruelty-free, sulfate-free, petroleum-free, mineral-oil free, and vegan. It also contains no perfume, is free of gluten, and is silicone-free, phthalate-free, formaldehyde-free, and Cocamidopropyl betaine-free.
Is it color depositing?
Another thing we’ve found from testing hundreds of shampoos is that most shampoos formulated for specific hair colors contain color-depositing properties. We love color-depositing shampoos (and an H2BAR version is coming soon), but we also know not everyone is looking to enhance their color. Usually, natural redheads are afraid to alter their color in anyway, too. So, we made this product suitable for all shades of red hair by NOT making it color-depositing.
Why is it red?
It is red in color because we want it to feel satisfying when applied. The color is just for appearance and will not edit your red hair. This shampoo is also suitable for frequent washes.
