The bone-chilling winds and freezing temperatures inspire many to take warm vacation destinations this time of year. Now that you have your trip booked, you’re probably wondering what you should pack, and more specifically, what to pack for your red hair. Many redheads have unmanageable, frizzy hair when in the humid weather. Here is a short list of must-have hair products for your getaway:
1. Hair powder. Plane hair = lame hair. Shake things up with hair powder (dry shampoo in a powder form) apply to roots and comb through with fingers to take your blowout straight to the tiki bar. Try: Bumble and Bumble’s ‘Pret a Powder.’ It’s petite & perfectly carry-on friendly.
2. Sea salt spray. Spritz damp hair with sea salt spray and scrunch for boho beach waves that last long after the sun. Try: OGX Moroccan ‘Sea Salt Spray’. It is a beach bum’s dream.
3. Deep conditioner. Opt for a deep conditioner to restore dry locks from UV exposure. Use a drop on ends as a leave-in conditioner at the beach or pool to protect hair from sun & harsh pool chemicals (blondes should do this especially to prevent hair from turning green.) Try: Moroccan Oil Hair Masque or opt for these ‘redhead friendly’ conditioner treatments.
