10 Best Face Serums for Redheads

Categorized by your skin needs!

We love face serums. They are an important part of our redhead skincare routine –– which is the reason why we include them a lot in monthly and quarterly H2BAR Boxes.

What is a face serum?

A face serum is a more concentrated liquid formula than an everyday moisturizer which helps retain moisture and elasticity. Serums are great if you want to prolong moisture and give your skin a healthy glow.

How to apply a serum?

Apply a face serum before your favorite moisturizer (day and/or night) to lock in all those skin-boosting benefits. Your skincare routine should look like this: cleanser, toner, serum, eye cream, moisturizer and sunscreen. You can apply your face oil before moisturizing or after. We think this is a personal preference based on your skin type. If you’re drier, you may want to apply your face oil after moisturizing.

If you’re not already using a facial serum, consider giving your routine a step-up with one of these amazing ‘redhead friendly’ serums.

8. For sun damage

9. For brighter skin
Fleur & Bee Natural Vitamin C Serum, $28

10. For extra hydration
The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, $11
Hyaluronic acid is super trendy and for good reason. Fun fact: Our bodies actually naturally produce hyaluronic acid! However, the more we age, the less hyaluronic acid we produce. Incorporating this product into your redhead skincare routine will help fight aging, promote skin elasticity and retain moisture (aka add hydration to your skin).
