Miranda Howard is a poet, banker, yogi-in-training, and aspiring chef living in a small town in eastern Kentucky. She loves archaic words, quotes, music, needlepoint, books, dumb jokes (“Hey, bartender, you got any gwapes?”) hiking and bonfires, philosophical conversations, and front porch swinging. Being an auburn-haired lass, it really gets under her skin when people try to tell her that she isn’t a redhead, as her red hair and freckles are her favorite physical characteristics and an integral part of her identity. If she could pick one food to eat for the rest of her life, it would be Reese’s Big Cups with crunchy peanut butter – this is assuming, of course, that she could keep her coffee habit. Mmmm…coffee.
