It’s no secret we love award shows, especially the red carpet events. The 2023 Emmy nominations were announced and there are a few redheads on the list. The Emmy Awards ceremony was scheduled to take place September 18th, but it is postponed in response to the current strike by the Writers Guild of America (WGA).
Whenever (or if) it takes place, we can’t wait to see which redheads win and what they wear on the red carpet:
Sarah Snook
Nominated for Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Succession.
The extremely talented strawberry-blonde plays the youngest child of the billionaire family. She’s the politically savvy Siobhan “Shiv” Roy in the hit HBO drama series that just ended after four successful seasons.
Natasha Lyonne
Nominated for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Poker Face.
The redhead best known for her role in Orange is the New Black is up for an award for her role as Charlie Cale, a cocktail waitress with the ability to tell when people are lying.
Jessica Chastain
Nominated for Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for her role in George & Tammy.
This is the redhead icon’s first Emmy nomination. She might be rocking a blonde wig to play country music legend Tammy Wynette, but we can’t wait to see her natural red tresses on the red carpet.
Riley Keough
Nominated for Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for her role in Daisy Jones & the Six.
Although Keough isn’t a natural redhead, she sure has embraced the redhead life in her role as Daisy Jones, a fictional redhead rock icon in the 1970s.
Becky Ann Baker
Nominated for Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Ted Lasso.
Best known for her role on the 90s show Freaks and Geeks, Becky Ann Baker has been nominated for her guest appearance on the hit show Ted Lasso.
Rock it like a Redhead!
