She might still be in elementary school, but 10-year-old redhead Pixie Curtis is well on her way to being able to retire in just 5 years at age 15 all because of a business she started. The Australian entrepreneur started Pixie’s Fidgets in 2021 with the help of her mother, Roxy Jacenko. It is a colorful range of fidget toys which made more than $200,000 in its first month.
During an interview with Australia’s Stellar Magazine, Jacenko said, “What is the most exciting thing for me is the entrepreneurial spirit that she has at such a young age. I never had it, although it was drummed into me that I had to succeed.”
“When I was 14, I got a job at McDonald’s because that’s what you did back in my day,” Jacenko continues. “So, I guess to me the biggest thing is her drive as an entrepreneur. Yes, I’ve enabled it, but she’s still got it, which is for me the most rewarding part.”
This isn’t her only operation either. Pixie’s Bows is a hair accessories brand she been running for years. The two companies now are under the Pixie’s Pix umbrella which sells other children’s games and accessories.
Pixie is on a path that would allow her to retire a millionaire before even graduating high school. Pixie’s mother Jacenko owns several successful businesses and played a huge role in getting Pixie where she is today. Her mom knows these businesses might not always be what Pixie wants to do, but for now, she’s having fun!
Rock it like a Redhead!
